Rovics banned from Canada

For those who read this who are fans of the amazing David Rovics, you may not have heard, but he got a one-year ban from Canada. His friends are threatening to organise a Paul Robeson-style concert, whereby there’ll be a stage on the American side of the border, and lots of fans on the Canadian side.

You can read about what happened and his excellent (as ever) reflections on this on his MySpace page. And if you want free tracks of his, visit this page and enjoy downloading. I have been meaning to write some stuff on No Borders type stuff for a while, so expect some of it in the next few days. Oh, and Happy Mayday!
