Monday Action: Go to “out of action”

Having just been running around madly on lots of protests, writing a Monday Action seems like the last thing I want to do. During the G8, a dedicated team called “Out of Action” provided a mix of silent reflection space and activist trauma support. For those who don’t know, Activist Trauma is one of the most overlooked, under-rated and forgotten about support-structures required for a decent round of protests. So I thought I’d break off the endless action suggestions, and just recommend everyone has a week to be ‘out of action’; besides, we’ve got the whole of the rest of the summer to do stuff in.
