The BIG 10,000!

Tuesday, 30th October 2007 at 16:15 UTC 3 comments

Well, here I am, looking with amazement at the addition of a 5th digit to my blog’s view counter. Thanks to everyone who reads what I write, its really quite encouraging. I started writing almost exactly 8 months ago, and have posted 175 times since, meaning a post each for 71% of the days since.

I’m beginning to build up a list of ideas for posts (I exhausted the last one), so expect at least some fresh postings over the next few days. The big result of the survey of readers that I did recently is a desire for ‘recent comments’ to appear in the right column, so this will happen soon. Also, I’m considering ending Monday Actions, and not posting on Saturday and Sunday.

For those of you who are interested, I’ve put the top 20 posts table below, without the links for each post, as that would take too long. (Columns = Title| Views| Date published).

Congratulations. And was it just me, or were the Monday actions a bit irregular anyway? Don’t feel under any pressure to blog at weekends, even activist supermen need more of a break than is provided by a cup of Zapatista coffee! Quality not quantity and all that.

Yeah, thats my thought too. Especially when I’ve a busy week ahead and I know I could just as easily pre-post several days and save the agony.

Any puticular reason why that list of posts doesn’t link to each artical? I’ve not read most of them, and there are some interesting sounding titles, but I’m too lazy to search for them… 🙂
